Northern Syria Earthquake Response

Natural Disasters

Earthquake

When a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Turkey and Syria on February 6th, it killed tens of thousands and left millions homeless. While international aid began pouring into Turkey, northwestern Syria has received only a trickle. Freezing temperatures and crumbling infrastructure have made this tragic situation even more desperate for Syrians whose lives were already uprooted by years of civil war and mass displacement.

JCDR has a history of working with Syrian refugees, and we still have trusted partners in the area. Your gift to our Northern Syria Earthquake Response will be used to provide emergency relief to survivors in need of basic supplies such as food, winterization, and shelter.
